On the immediate right there is a spacious double bedroom with a king-size bed, co-ordinated curtains, carpet, and bed linen, complimented by traditional pine furniture. A Turner print sits on the wall. At the far end of the room there is a concealed storage cupboard to store your suitcases. A tall dressing mirror and window seat completes the effect.

On the left you enter the spacious bathroom. This has been completely restyled, modernised and equipped to include a large bath for that luxurious soak after a long walk. The separate shower cabinet is a nod towards convenience and speed. The overall effect we hope is an agreeable one.

On the first floor is the open plan kitchen and living area. The kitchen is new, spacious and fully equipped. We have placed a selection of cookery books on the shelves should you chose to cook or entertain. They nestle a small selection of novels should you prefer a more leisurely pursuit.

The living area to the left has a pine table and matching chairs that fit comfortably into the corner. The main living area comes fully equipped with a DVD player, CD player, television, Hi-Fi , feature fire, and another Turner Print. From the large window there are views over the village framed by the fells beyond. It was the combination of blue sky, brilliant sunshine and the red and gold of autumn leaves that sparked off our love affair with this house. Even in winter with the hills covered in low cloud, there is a magnificent brooding malevolence.

On the top landing on your right is the chill out zone . The idea behind this space is an area for adults or children to get out from under each other's feet for an hour or two. It's a place to read , play games or watch a different T.V. programme to the rest of the party ( this room has a TV / video player and a small Hi-Fi). For children of all ages we have installed a Sony play station and a couple of games.

A few steps to the right is a small toilet with washbasin.

The final room is twin bedded and is opposite the chill out zone. It is tastefully furnished in pine with co-ordinated duvets, curtains and carpet and has a window seat , from where there are views to Wansfell . The Turner theme is continued with another print.

Through the arch to the left of the house is the garage that sits in a narrow courtyard to the rear.
